Our privacy policy

Who we are

Dieple Consulting & Training Limited (“the Company”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the website  https://www.dieple.com (the “Site” or “Service”). We are a private management consultancy (company number  11822562), with our registered office at Suite 3 Dukes House, 4-6 High Street, Windsor, Berkshire, England, SL4 1LD.

We provide business transformation, project delivery, and sustainability consulting services, mainly business-to business, along with some limited business-to-consumer services such as life and career coaching.
We are the “controller” of the personal data we collect through the Site, and we are responsible for that data under  the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This notice explains what  personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number ZB147190.

What personal data we collect

Contact forms

Information you give us

When you use the Site — for example, by completing our contact form — we may ask you to provide personal data  that can be used to contact or identify you. This may include:

• Name (first and last)

• Email address

• Phone number

• Postal address, city, county/state, postal/ZIP code, and country

• Any other information you choose to include in your message to us

Information we collect automatically

Like most websites, we and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to collect certain information  automatically when you visit the Site. This may include:

Log and device data — your browser type, operating system, device model, unique device identifier, IP address,  mobile network carrier, time zone or approximate location, and the web address you came from or go to next. • Cookie data — information recorded through cookies and similar technologies. See the Cookies Policy below for  details.

Our lawful bases for using your data

Under UK GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. Depending on the situation, we rely  on the following:

Consent — where you have agreed to a specific use, such as receiving marketing emails or allowing non-essential  cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Legitimate interests — where processing is necessary for our reasonable business interests — such as responding to your enquiries, securing and improving the Site, and understanding how it is used — provided your rights do  not override those interests.

Contract — where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to  perform a contract with you.

Legal obligation — where we need to process data to comply with the law.

How we use your information

We use the personal data we collect to:

Provide our services — to deliver the services and information you request.

Respond to you — to answer your questions, comments, or enquiries submitted through the Site. • Understand and improve the Site — to analyse how the Site is used so we can maintain, secure, and improve it. • Communicate with you — to send you service-related notices (for example, changes to this policy or to our

services) and, where you have opted in, occasional emails about our work. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time — see “Your rights and choices” below.

Meet legal and operational needs — to manage our business and comply with our legal obligations. We do not display advertising on the Site, and we do not use your data to serve you third-party ads.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as described below.

Service providers — we use trusted third parties to perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, IT  and infrastructure, analytics, communications, and payment processing. These providers may access personal  data only as needed to perform their services for us, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Analytics — we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use  the Site. Google processes this data in line with its own privacy policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/). You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at

https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Payment processing — if you purchase a paid product or service through the Site, payment is handled by PayPal.  We do not collect or store your card details; these are provided directly to PayPal, whose use of your data is  governed by its own privacy policy. Our payment processor adheres to the PCI-DSS standards managed by the PCI Security Standards Council.

Legal reasons — we may disclose data where reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, or legal or  governmental request; to enforce our terms; to protect the safety, rights, or property of any person or of the  Company; or to detect, prevent, or address security, technical, or illegal issues (including fraud).

Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, personal data  may be among the assets transferred. We will take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to be treated in line  with this policy, and will notify you where required.

International transfers

Some of our service providers (for example, Google and PayPal) may process data outside the UK. Where we transfer  personal data outside the UK, we take steps to ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards recognised under UK  data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

Links to other sites

Our Site may contain links to sites we do not operate. If you click a third-party link, you will be taken to that site,  which is governed by its own privacy policy. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Data retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, including to satisfy  any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Usage data

collected for analytics is generally retained for a shorter period, unless we need it to strengthen security or improve  the Site, or are legally required to keep it longer.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal data against loss, theft,  and unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic  storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data:

• The right to be informed about how we use your data (which this policy provides).

• The right to access a copy of the data we hold about you.

• The right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.

• The right to erasure (“the right to be forgotten”) in certain circumstances.

• The right to restrict or object to our processing in certain circumstances.

• The right to data portability — to receive the data you provided in a commonly used electronic format, or have it  transferred to another controller.

• The right to withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

Marketing emails: if you do not wish to receive promotional emails from us, you can opt out at any time using the  unsubscribe link in any such email, or by contacting us.

Cookies: you can set your browser to accept or refuse cookies, or to notify you when one is issued — see your  browser’s help pages and the Cookies Policy below.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You  also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory  authority for data protection, at https://ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Children’s privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the  “Last updated” date above.
